Match Format changes as a result of Captain's Meeting

Card & Format

The following changes were agreed by a vote of Captains:
(note these are changes other rules remain in place)

• A player can only play twice in a set of 8 Frames.

• Confirmation that a player cannot  play back to back including frames 8&9 of the match.

• Playing off is at Captains discretion but the score card reflects where the player would have played. 

The following penalty for not following the match format rules was voted by the majority of Captains.

• 1 League point will be deducted PER infringement of the rules. For example playing 2 players back to back, playing a player 3 times in a set of 8 would be a penalty of 3 league points.

These changes come into force immediately but there is no retrospective penalty for infringements before the captains meeting.

If any Captains wish to attend they can, or they can send any suggestions or points they want raised to the Secretary by Monday 7th May 2012
